Constance Hoffert
LANTANA, Fla. — Constance Hoffert passed away on March 6, 2014, in Lantana, Fla.
She was born in Portland on Dec. 5, 1920, to Pauline and Samuel Dorfman. She graduated from Wellesley College in 1942 and married her adoring lifetime mate, Daniel, the same year. He predeceased her in 2010.
She is survived by her loving daughter and son-in-law, Rebecca and Peter Rosow.
Connie lived a long and full life. She was loved by many and was impressively resilient in times of adversity. A real lady and true beauty; she turned heads until the end. She will be greatly missed.
Graveside services will be held at Mt. Sinai Cemetery, Hicks Street, Portland, on Sunday, March 9, at 1 p.m. Arrangements by The Jewish Funeral Home, Portland.
