PORTLAND – Allan Wayne Azzara died at home on Dec. 19, 2018. Allan was born in Brooklyn, N.Y., and relocated to Portland. He was a seasoned taxi driver and drove in Brooklyn and in Portland for more than 40 years. He was the salt of the earth, very well liked, and he will be sadly missed by his family, friends, and co-workers. Allan is survived by his loving wife of 18 years, Michelle Azzara; his two sons, Michael and Jason Azzara; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Annette and Marty Finkelstein, and sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Joanne and Jeff Cohen. A funeral service will be held on Sunday, Dec. 23 at 1 p.m., at The Levey Chapel, 471 Deering Ave., in Portland. Arrangements made by Portland Jewish Funeral Home.
