Bruce A. Rudnick, 49
LOWELL, Mass. – Bruce A. Rudnick, 49, of Lowell, Mass., passed away unexpectedly earlier this week.
He was the son of Elene Brenerman Rudnick, formerly of Portland, now of Newton, Mass.; and the late Henry Rudnick. He is survived by his sister Lynne Miller, brother-in-law Seth Miller, and niece Hannah Miller, of Lincoln, Mass. Bruce was the grandson of the late Hazel and Saul Brenerman, of Portland; and the nephew of Rachel Popkin, of Boston.
Bruce also is survived by several aunts and uncles in Maine: David and Nancy Brenerman, of Portland; Marty and Linda Brenerman, of Old Orchard Beach; and Susan and Paul Korobkin, of Portland.
He had numerous cousins in Maine and throughout the U.S.: Molly Brenerman, of Portland; Brian (Jen) Brenerman and children, Parker and Hazel, of Portland; Marla (Gary) Wolfson and children, Justin and Ethan, of Atlanta, Ga.; Carrie (Eddie) Bellerose, and children Jamie and Sadie, of East Longmeadow, Mass.; Scott Korobkin, of New York City; and Marc Korobkin, of West Chester, Pa.
Bruce grew up in and was a longtime resident of Malden, Mass. He was a proud graduate of The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, with a major in entrepreneurial management, which he put to use as a day trader after graduation. Bruce was also an avid sports fan, in particular, of the New England Patriots.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Jan. 26, at the Levey Chapel, 471 Deering Ave., in Portland. Arrangements are being made by the Jewish Funeral Home.
