Marilyn Feldman Isaacson was Born in Boston, Massachusetts but grew up in Auburn, Maine. She attended Edward Little High School where she met her high school sweetheart, followed him to the University of Miami and built a beautiful life together. She is survived by her sister, 4 loving children, 6 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.

Marilyn was known for being just a little bit late, which added to her charm. She loved late nights with her best friend EC, sharing ice cream and movie outings. She Loved to travel, play golf, and was an avid bridge player. She was a voracious reader right through her final days, reading nearly every bestseller.

She Joined Hadassah and the Sisterhood at a young age, where she learned the art of entertaining. Marilyn made every occasion special with her creativity which included beautiful table settings, intricate fruit displays, party favors, and unforgettable celebrations. She Hosted grand parties and ensured the guestroom was always ready for visitors.

As her hearing began to fail, she adapted gracefully, communicating with a whiteboard. She was known at her assisted living community as “the sweetest, happiest woman.” Caretakers adored her, she always managed to smile, offering them food and spreading joy.

Marilyn was the guiding light of her family, always prioritizing family. She taught her children to navigate challenges with kindness, devotion and humor through her actions. Summers with Marilyn at the lake house and winters in Florida were filled with laughter and hospitality. She also emphasized the importance of celebrating milestones (always with a new outfit!). She never raised her voice and lead with a quiet strength and love. Her heart and home were always open.

A graveside service was held for Marilyn at 1 pm on Sunday, December 8, 2024 at the Temple Beth Shalom Cemetery in Auburn, Maine.
